Today would have been my mother's 82nd birthday.  She passed away in January, 2006 at the age of 71.  It seems fitting that I should post a collage I made in her honor.  I created it before I really knew how to make digital collages.

I had so much fun creating this!  I love the flower head images I've seen at Mischief Circus.  For this challenge I had to use only elements and a character from kits I purchased at Mischief Circus.  I used pieces from Miles Beyond the Moon kits, Holliewood Studios, and Itkupilli.  You can see the other entries here.

Where the heck have I been?

I have been way too busy rescuing cats lately.  It's very rewarding but exhausting and stressful work.  Tonight I decided to play for a little while.  I got out an art doll template and a new kit from Mischief Circus and created a little art doll.  I put her against a background and added a quote that is inspiring to me right now.  I really need to get out and play more often.
